Beef Mushroom Loaf Recipes

Ingredients :

2-ounce can chopped mushrooms

slightly beaten egg

Worcestershire sauce


dry mustard

soft bread crumbs

lean ground beef


light corn syrup


dash pepper

Method :
  1. Drain mushrooms, reserving liquid; add enough milk to make 1/2 cup.

  2. In bowl, combine liquid and all ingredients except catsup and corn syrup.

  3. Mix well; divide mixture in half.

  4. Pat each portion into 5.5x3x2.25-inch loaf pan or shape in loaf in baking pan.

  5. Bake one loaf in moderate oven (350) for 40 minutes.

  6. Combine catsup and corn syrup; spoon half of mixture over loaf.

  7. Bake 10 minutes more.
