Braised Beef With Radish Cooking Recipes

Ingredients :

shin beef

radish

oil

clove garlic, sliced

piece ginger, sliced

star anise

large onion, quartered

pepper corns

thin soy sauce

sugar

salt

stalk coriander leaves, chopped

Method :
  1. Clean and cut the beef into 4 cm cubes.

  2. Cut radish into 4 cm pieces also.

  3. Heat 3 tablespoons oil and fry the garlic, ginger and onion until light brown.

  4. Add beef and stir well for a few minutes.

  5. Add 2 cups water, star anise, peppercorns, soy sauce, sugar and salt.

  6. Simmer in a covered pan for 2 hours.

  7. When the beef is tender, add radish and cook for 30 minutes until radish is tender.

  8. Season to taste and serve immediately garnished with coriander leaves.
