Method :

  1. Slash fat edge at 1-inch intervals of a 1-rib beef rib roast, 2 inches thick.

  2. Broil 5 inches from heat for 30-40 minutes for medium to medium-well done meat.

  3. Turn once during broiling.

  4. Cut into 2 servings.
