Roast Beef Eye Fillet with Soy Sauce Recipes

Ingredients :

butter

soy sauce

honey

red wine vinegar

beef eye fillet

sesame seeds

Method :
  1. Heat oil and butter in a large frying pan.
  2. Add soy sauce, honey and vinegar.
  3. Add the fillet and cook over a high heat to sear until brown on all sides.
  4. Transfer fillet to an ovenproof dish and bake at 180oC for 30-40 minutes or until just cooked.
  5. Reserve meat juices and marinade in frying pan.
  6. Add the meat juices from the oven dish to the frying pan.
  7. Add 1/4 cup water and heat over moderate heat until mixture boils.
  8. Reduce heat and simmer until mixture thickens, stir in sesame seeds and pour sauce over the sliced meat.
  9. Serve with fresh vegetables.
