Grind ingredients to paste:

beef, cut into large cubes
tomato, cut into wedges
salt and light soy sauce for seasoning
shallots
red chilies
pips garlic
onions
ginger
Poach beef in boiling water with a pinch of sugar until meat is tender.
Remove and set aside.
Heat margarine.
Fry paste ingredient until fragrant.
Add beef cubes and tomato wedges.
Season with salt and light soy sauce.
Allow to simmer for 10-15 minutes until meat is cooked.
Dish up and serve hot.
