The good about negative calorie …

Thank goodness for fiber, a carbohydrate the body cannot digest. Nature has provided us with these foods with so little absorbable calories that it may take more energy to digest them compared with the calories they actually contain. With these negative-calorie foods, the theory is that you can stuff yourself with them and not gain weight. These include :
- apple, cabbage, grapefruit, melon, orange, peach, broccoli, pineapple, watermelon, asparagus, cantaloupe, cauliflower, cucumber, celery, green beans, lettuce, spinach
Caveat :
1. If you add butter or sugar, these foods cease to be negative calorie.
2. Because these foods are low in calories, over-reliance on them can make your blood sugar plummet, triggering hunger pangs (and probably a bingin session). So eat sensibly.
