How to choose carrots ?

Carrots are easy to serve and eat in stick form, like the celery. If you have a lot of carrots to choose from, pick out the slightly smaller, thinner ones. They’re younger and more tender. They’re are also sweeter and milder in flavor. Use the larger carrots for cooking.Fresh carrots are smooth, firm, and bright orange. Don’t buy ones that look tired, have sports of decay, or have a lot of green on the carrots themselves. You can keep carrots at their best by storing them in their original package in the vegetable section of your refrigerator. If they aren’t packaged when you buy them, put them in a plastic bag.
