How much seasoning should you use ?

The amount of seasoning depends on your taste and on how much cream cheese you have. The best approach is to add a few shakes at a time, mix it in, and taste it. Be sure to taste it on the celery and carrot sticks, because they will add their own flavor to the dip. If you are not sure what a certain seasoning will taste like, put a spoonful of the dip on a separate plate and test out the seasoning. That way, if you don’t life what it does, you haven’t ruined the whole dip.
If you want to add an extra taste, see if you have any dry onion soup mix in the house. Add it to the dip a couple of milliliters (half a teaspoon) at a time until it’s as strong as you like it.
Or perhaps you can turn it into a tuna fish dip. A 185-gram (6.5 ounce) can of tuna fish will be about right for a 230-gram (8-ounce) package of cream cheese. If you have less cream cheese than that, use proportionately less tuna fish. Add 45 milliliters (3 tablespoons) of mayonnaise, too. This dip could also use 15 milliliters (3 tablespoons) of mayonnaise, too. This dip could also use 15 milliliters (1 tablespoon) of lemon juice and 1 milliliter (1/4 teaspoon) of hot pepper sauce, but they are not essential.
Serve the dip in a small bowl. You might put the bowl on a platter or tray and surround it with some of these crackers you found in the cupboard. Those crackers won’t be plain and ordinary anymore!
Suppose I have time to go shopping ahead of time. What else would be good to nibble on ?
