Baking time for cookies

You will often see baking time expressed as a range of time. For instance, the oatmeal cookies should bake for “12 to 15″ minutes. This means you should set the timer for 12 minutes and check then to see how they are doing. But don’t peek too often. Each time you do, the oven loses a lot of heat.
