Chicken and Bean Sprouts Recipes

Ingredients :

2 x 350 g

chicken portions, skinned

vegetable oil

medium sized onion, thinly sliced

clove garlic, crushed

soy sauce

ground ginger

brown sugar

fresh bean sprouts


Method :
  1. Cut the chicken from the bones and cut into thin strips.

  2. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onion and garlic over moderate heat for 1 minute.

  3. Add the chicken, soy sauce, ginger, sugar and salt and stir fry for 3 minutes.

  4. Add the bean sprouts, stir well and fry for a further 2 minutes, stirring.

  5. Do not allow the bean sprouts to overcook and become soft.

  6. Transfer to a heated serving dish and serve at once.

Serving Suggestion :

Brown rice with peas and sweet corn and a green vegetable such as spinach or sliced green beans.
