Spicy Liver With Rice Recipes

Ingredients :

60ml water

150g chicken or lamb's liver, cut in strips

4 spring onions, chopped

30g mushrooms, chopped

1/2 clove garlic, crushed

2 tomatoes, peeled and chopped

4 tbsp cooked peas

1 beef stock cube, crumbled

pinch of ground cloves

pinch of ground cinnamon

pinch of black pepper

375g cooked brown rice

Method :
  1. In a frying pan, heat the water and sauté the liver, spring onions, mushrooms and garlic for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the tomatoes, cooked peas, stock cube and spices.
  3. Simmer, stirring, over medium heat for 3 minutes.
  4. Add the cooked rice and stir constantly until heated through.
  5. Serve at once.

Serves 2 - 4
