Method :
Slice winter
melon thinly into 5cm by 15cm rectangles. Blanch in boiling water
briefly until soft. Shred chicken breast, carrot and mushroom. Chop
Chinese parsley roughly. Mix with marinade. Place winter melon flat. Put
enough filling on it. Roll into a barrel shape. Arrange on a greased
plate and steam over high heat for 8 minutes. Pour sauce over and serve
hot. Winter melon
is a summer vegetable. It is commonly used in soups and stews. It is
quite innovative to use a thin slice of winter melon as a wrap.
