Crucian Carp Soup with Matrimony Vine and Bean Curd Recipes

Ingredients :

375g matrimony vine

1 crucian carp, 450g

1 piece bean curd

3 slices ginger

5 cups or any suitable amount of water

Marinade

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp ginger juice

2 tsp wine

Method :

  1. Retain the leaves of matrimony vine. Wash and drain.

  2. Scale and gut carp. Wash and wipe dry. Add marinade and marinate for 15 minutes. Wipe away the remaining marinade.

  3. Heat some oil. Sauté ginger slices. Add carp and fry until both sides become slightly golden. Then pour in water and cook for 10 minutes. Add matrimony vine and bean curd. Cook for a while. Season with salt. Serve.
