Mee Hoon Soup Recipes

Ingredients :

rice vermicelli, soaked to soften

pigs liver, slice thinly

lean pork, slice thinly

shrimps, peeled

mustard greens

clove garlic

chicken stock

thin soy sauce

oil

salt to taste

Method :
  1. Heat oil and fry garlic until fragrant for 1 minute.
  2. Add vermicelli and fry for 2 minutes.
  3. Transfer to a serving bowl.
  4. Add liver and pork to pan and fry for 5 minutes, adding more oil if necessary.
  5. Add shrimps and soy sauce.
  6. Season to taste.
  7. Pour in the stock and bring to boil.
  8. Add the mustard greens and simmer for 3 minutes.
  9. To serve, pour boiling soup over the vermicelli.

Serves 4 - 6
