Prawns With Ginger Dip Recipes

Ingredients :

Marinade :

1 tablespoon

1 teaspoon

1 teaspoon


Dip :

1 tablespoon

1 teaspoon

2 tablespoons

1 cm


light soy sauce

rice wine

sesame oil

clove garlic, crushed


white rice vinegar


chopped coriander leaves

piece fresh root ginger, peeled and finely chopped

Method :
  1. Using a small sharp knife, cut along back of each prawn and remove thin black cord.

  2. Rinse and dry prawns with absorbent kitchen paper and place on a plate.

  3. Mix together light soy sauce, rice wine, sesame oil and garlic and brush over prawns.

  4. Cover and chill for 1 hours.

  5. To make dip, mix together white rice vinegar, sugar, chopped coriander and fresh root ginger, cover and chill.

  6. Preheat grill.

  7. Place prawns on the grill rack and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, basting with marinade, until cooked through.

  8. Garnish with coriander leaves and ginger strips and serve with dip.

Serves 4.
