Steamed Bean curd with Minced Chicken Recipes

Ingredients :


160 g





1 packet

250 ml

square round soft bean curd, rinsed

minced chicken

Chinese mushrooms, soaked until soft and diced

sprigs spring onions, chopped

cloves garlic, chopped finely

shallots, sliced thinly

mushroom gravy

hot water

salt and pepper to taste

Method :
  1. Place bean curd in a steamer and steam over rapidly boiling water for 6 minutes.

  2. Drain away water and set aside.

  3. In the meantime, heat 2 tablespoons oil and sauté onions and garlic until fragrant.

  4. Add mushroom, stir fry for 1 minute and add minced chicken.

  5. Stir fry chicken until cooked (change color) then add mushroom gravy, salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Bring to a boil and turn off fire.

  7. Spoon chicken mixture over bean curd.

  8. Sprinkle chopped spring onions over bean curd and serve with rice.
