Ham Shao Mai Recipes

Ingredients :

Filling:

150g ham

225g minced pork

1/2 cup water chestnut

1 tbsp chopped spring onion

Seasoning:

1/3 tsp salt

1/3 tsp sugar

small amount of salt, sesame oil, pepper

Method :

Cut the ham into 4" x 4" thin slices. Mix with the pork, water chestnut, spring onion, and seasoning. Stir well, this is the filling. Put a slice of ham on the centre of each wrapper, follow by the filling. Pinch and seal the edges. Put in the steamer with sealed-side face down to steam over high heat for 8 minutes.
