Ingredients :


12 slices


4 tbsp

1/2 cup

2/3 cup

oysters, freshly shucked

fresh white bread, crusts removed

cloves garlic, crushed

pine nuts, toasted

extra virgin olive oil

chopped fresh basil

lemon wedges, to serve

Method :
  1. Clean and dry the oyster shells.
  2. Process the bread, garlic, pine nuts, oil and basil in a food processor.
  3. Put the oysters on a lined grill tray and top each with 1 tbsp of the bread mixture.
  4. Grill for 1-2 minutes, and serve with lemon wedges.
