Beef Balls In Curry Recipes

Ingredients :

For the beef balls :

750 g

For the curry :

minced beef

finely chopped onions

thin slices ginger, finely chopped

curry powder

 

sliced onions

cloves garlic, crushed

slices ginger, cut into strips

oil

coconut milk, (1/2 cup thick milk, 1 cup thin)

curry powder mixed into a paste with a little water

curry leaves

Method :

For beef balls :

  1. Mix together all the ingredients for the beef balls.
  2. Shape into balls and set aside.

For curry :

  1. Heat a saucepan with oil and fry the garlic until golden brown.
  2. Add the sliced onions, ginger and curry leaves, and continue to fry until fragrant.
  3. Add the curry paste and fry over medium heat for 4 - 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in the cup of thin coconut milk and bring to the boil.
  5. Gradually add in the meatballs and cook on low heat until firm.
  6. Pour in the half cup of thick coconut milk and cook until the gravy thickens.
  7. Serve as a main dish with rice or dunked with French bread.
