fish or prawns

ladies' fingers, cut into 2.5 cm lengths

oil

salt to taste

 

Ground Fine

dried chilies

shallots

piece fresh turmeric

cumin

candlenuts

white pepper

black pepper

tamarind juice

Method :
  1. Heat oil in a pan and fry ground ingredients till fragrant.
  2. Add fish slices or prawns, ladies' fingers, tamarind juice and salt to taste.
  3. Simmer till fish or prawns, ladies' fingers are done and gravy thickens.

Serves 4 - 6

Note :

If using fish, tamarind juice should be of thicker consistency.
