Grind
to a paste
coriander

Method :
- Boil beef till half cooked.
- Heat oil in a deep pan, fry onions, cinnamon, cloves, star anise
and curry leaves.
- When onions are brown, add tomatoes and fry for two minutes.
- Add ginger and garlic, fry for a minute.
- Add ground spices and turmeric powder and fry well.
- Add meat and salt to taste, cover and simmer for five minutes.
- Add enough water for a thick gravy, cover and cook till meat is
tender.
Serves 6 - 8
The effects of the common cold can be reduced by adding ground cinnamon
to hot milk, strengthened with whisky or sweetened with honey, or
stirred into a mixture of lemon juice, honey and hot water. The mixture
is to be taken at bedtime.
