Fish Roe Sambal Cooking

wash and drain well
pepper to taste
- Rub the fish roe with salt and shallow fry until light brown
- Remove roe from pan and place in a dish.
- Pour off excess oil from the pan leaving 3 tbsp and fry the
onion and garlic until fragrant.
- Add in the ground chilies and fry till oil surfaces.
- Add 1/2 cup water and bring to the boil.
- When gravy begins to dry slightly remove from fire.
- Add in lemon juice and pour gravy over fish roe.
- Serve hot with rice.
