Mango Chutney Recipes

mangoes, sliced fine or in cubes
brown
sugar
pods
garlic, washed and peeled
bottle
vinegar
dried
chilies
large
piece ginger |
Method :
- Put the mangoes in a saucepan,
cover with vinegar and boil till soft.
- Grind fine the chilies, ginger and
garlic and add to the saucepan.
- Mix in the sugar and salt to taste
and simmer on low heat till mangoes are soft.
- Adjust seasoning if necessary.
- If you want it more sour add more
vinegar.
- When done, cool before storing in
airtight jars.
Serves 6 - 8
