medium sized chicken, skinned and cut into large pieces
butter
cream
medium onions, finely sliced
cloves
bottle tomato sauce (more if required)
chili powder
salt to taste
Heat butter in a large pan over low heat.
Add cloves and onions and fry till transparent.
Add chicken and salt, and fry till golden and liquid has dried up.
Add tomato sauce and chili powder, there should be enough sauce to coat chicken as well as for a thick gravy.
Cook for five minutes.
Add cream and stir well.
Cover the pan and simmer chicken over low heat till tender.
Serve hot.
