medium sized chicken, washed and cut into large pieces
large tomatoes, blanched and chopped roughly
shallots
piece ginger
pod garlic
piece turmeric
cumin
piece cinnamon
cloves
cardamoms
ghee
salt to taste
Heat a deep, heavy bottomed pan, add the chicken and tomatoes, dot with the ghee.
Cover tightly and let it simmer till chicken is tender.
Fry for a few minutes till chicken is brown.
Serve garnished with chopped coriander leaves.
