Easy Mutton Curry Recipes

Ingredients :

mutton or lamb, diced

large onions, ground

coriander seeds, ground

cloves garlic, chopped

cardamoms, seeds ground

piece stick cinnamon

chili powder (more if you like your curry really hot)

turmeric powder

ground black pepper

oil

salt to taste

juice of 2 limes

Method :
  1. Heat oil in a deep pan, and fry onions till brown, then add garlic, cardamom, chili powder, cinnamon, turmeric and coriander.

  2. Fry till fragrant, then add mutton and powdered black pepper.

  3. Stir well and add salt to taste.

  4. Add enough water to cover meat, and simmer till mutton is tender.

  5. Before serving, pour in lime juice.

  6. Note : You can substitute 11/2 cup coconut milk for the water for a richer and slightly different taste.

Serves 6 - 8

Indians believes that drinking too much lime juice is not good for the stomach lining. However, if drunk with rock sugar in the evening, it is supposed to increase sperm production.
