Ingredients :

lean mutton, cut into 2.5 cm cubes

ginger, thickly sliced

small onions, peeled and left whole

chopped onion

cloves garlic, chopped

fresh red chilies, cut lengthwise

curry powder

ghee

Method :
  1. Pack cubed mutton, ginger slices and onions alternately on skewers.

  2. Keep aside.

  3. Heat ghee in a pan and fry the chopped onion, garlic and chilies till golden.

  4. Add curry powder and a little water and mix well then continue cooking for a few more minutes.

  5. Pack the skewered meat in the gravy, cover and simmer over low heat till meat is tender.

  6. Add salt to taste.

Serves 6 - 8
