Pahari Chicken Recipes

Ingredients :

medium sized chicken, skinned and cut into pieces

yoghurt, beaten with a fork till smooth and creamy


green chilies, finely chopped

piece ginger

cloves garlic

coriander leaves, finely chopped


salt to taste

Method :
  1. Heat ghee, add chopped chilies and cardamoms and fry for 2 minutes.

  2. Add ground paste and fry for another 2 minutes.

  3. Add ground paste and fry for another 2 minutes.

  4. Add chicken and fry till golden.

  5. Reduce heat.

  6. Add yoghurt, stir well and simmer on low heat yoghurt is completely absorbed.

  7. Add coriander leaves; remove from heat and serve hot.

Serves 6 - 8
