Ingredients :

minced beef
split pea flour
yoghurt
garam masala
salt
medium sized onions, chopped
lemon juice
chili powder
piece ginger
a small bunch coriander leaves
Put beef through a mince with onion, ginger and coriander leaves.
Add salt, garam masala, chili powder, lemon juice and gram flour; and mix and knead for several minutes till it becomes like a smooth dough.
Divide the 'dough' into 12 portions, and wrap each portion round a metal skewer in a sausage shape.
Baste generously with yoghurt.
Place under a hot grill and brown well on all sides.
Serve hot with mint chutney or chili sauce.
