Shami Kebabs Recipes

Ingredients :

500 g

1 cup

2

1 teaspoon

1/2 teaspoon

2

minced beef

split peas

onions, chopped

chili powder

turmeric powder

eggs

a few mint leaves

a small bunch coriander leaves

salt to taste

oil for frying

Method :
  1. Soak split peas in water for several hours, then boil with mince till soft.

  2. Drain thoroughly.

  3. Put through a mince with chopped onion, mint, coriander leaves, salt, chili powder and turmeric.

  4. Mix with beaten egg and make into round cutlets.

  5. Deep fry in hot oil and serve with chutney.

Serves 6 - 8
