Method :
Remove the head and clean inside the
squid, rinse. Make horizontal cuts on the squid: one on the right, then
a little bit lower on the left and so forth but keeping the squid in one
piece. Then divide the squid into 3 portions. Marinate the squid for 30
minutes, scald it in boiling water. Remove, add salt and pepper. Whisk
the egg. Sprinkle plain flour on the squid, dip in whisked egg and then
breadcrumbs. Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown. Serve immediately.
