Mutton In Tomato Sauce Recipes

Ingredients :

400 g

large onions, 6 to be sliced

piece ginger, 2 cm pounded

cloves garlic, 6 to be sliced


curry powder

tomatoes, quartered

medium tin tomato puree

evaporated milk

corn oil

salt and sugar to taste

Method :
  1. Cut and wash the mutton.
  2. Boil in water with the sliced onions, shallots, ginger and garlic.
  3. Pound the rest of the onions, shallots and garlic with almonds until fine.
  4. Mix well with curry powder and add in water.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and fry the cinnamon stick and cloves.
  6. Add in the curry powder and mix well.
  7. Add in the tomato puree and fry until fragrant.
  8. Pour this mixture into the beef and mix well.
  9. Add in the tomato quarters and simmer until cooked.
  10. Add in the milk, salt and sugar and let it continue boiling until the gravy is thick.
