Channam Touk (Beef Salad) - Laos Recipes

Ingredients :

240g beef (thinly sliced)

8 red and green chilies (thinly sliced)

2 stalks parsley (chopped)

4 kaffir lime leaves, 1 large white onion, 2 stalks lemon grass (all thinly sliced)

2 cloves garlic (chopped)

1 tsp paprika powder

2 tsp fish sauce

60g beansprouts

salt and pepper to taste

30ml oil

Method :

Mix beef with chilies and parsley. Marinate for 2 hours. Heat oil and stir-fry until beef is tender. Combine the lime leaves, white onion, lemon grass, garlic, paprika powder and beansprouts in a bowl. Add beef, fish sauce, salt and pepper to taste. Serve.

Serves 4
