Anchovy Sambal Recipes

Ingredients :

5 tablespoons



10 gm

300 gm



shallots (pounded)

dry chilies (pounded)

groundnuts, roasted

anchovies, toasted lightly

onions, sliced thinly

salt and sugar to taste

Method :

Heat margarine. Fry pounded ingredients until fragrant. Add groundnuts and anchovies, and continue to stir-fry. Add sliced onions and mix well. Season according to taste. As soon as onions are cooked, remove and serve.

Serves 3-4
