Anchovy Sambal Recipes

Ingredients :

margarine

shallots    (pounded)

dry chilies (pounded)

groundnuts, roasted

anchovies, toasted lightly

onions, sliced thinly

salt and sugar to taste

Method :
  1. Heat margarine.
  2. Fry pounded ingredients until fragrant.
  3. Add groundnuts and anchovies, and continue to stir-fry.
  4. Add sliced onions and mix well.
  5. Season according to taste.
  6. As soon as onions are cooked, remove and serve.

Serves 3-4
