Method :
Mix all
ingredients and dissolve sugar. Divide batter into two portions. Dye one
portion with red or yellow. Leave the other portion colorless. Boil
water in a steamer. Grease a round or a square baking tray and heat it
in the steamer for 5 minutes. Pour 1/2 cup of white batter in the heated
tray. Steam for 6-7 minutes. Make sure the layer is firm before adding
1/2 cup of red or yellow batter.
Steam for 5-6
minutes. Repeat the process, steaming white and colored layers. For the
top most layer, add colored batter. Steam for 10-12 minutes. Cool
thoroughly before cutting and serving.
