Method :
Wash ladies
fingers, wipe dry and remove stems with a sharp knife. Carve tops into a
point around the bases of the stems. Make several lengthways incisions
in each ladies finger without cutting tops or bottoms. Sprinkle with
salt and stand for 5 minutes. Rinse in warm water and wipe dry.
Place ladies
fingers in a saucepan with salt, pepper, chili and cummin. Cover with
water and simmer on moderate heat till tender. Drain and serve hot or
cold as a side dish.
