Meat Rolls (Loh Bah) Cooking Recipes

Ingredients :

lean pork, cut into strips

small yam bean, chopped

big onions, chopped coarsely

eggs

flour

sugar

bean curd sheets

pieces bean curd - fried and cut into cubes

cucumber, sliced for garnishing

dash of pepper

salt to taste

oil for deep frying

Method :
  1. Sprinkle the bean curd sheets with a little water to soften and then cut into 8 pieces.
  2. Mix the pork, onions, yam bean, flour, salt, pepper, eggs and sugar together.
  3. Spoon out the mixture onto the bean curd sheets and roll up.
  4. Deep fry the rolls in hot oil until dark brown.
  5. Drain and slice.
  6. Serve together with bean curd cakes, cucumber and chili sauce.
