Pickled Fish Cooking Recipes


Ingredients :

fillets of fish, cut into 2

piece turmeric


fresh ginger, sliced finely

sesame seeds

fresh red and green chilies, washed, sliced and dried in the sun




Method :
  1. Heat oil and fry the finely sliced ginger until brown.

  2. Remove from oil and drain well.

  3. Fry the garlic, drain and keep aside.

  4. Fry the turmeric until the oil turns yellow and then remove.

  5. Strain the oil and cool.

  6. In the same pan, roast the sesame seeds until brown and remove.

  7. Heat oil and fry the fish until cooked.

  8. Prepare the pickle.

  9. In a dry jar, sprinkle a layer of sesame seeds, ginger and garlic.

  10. Spread the fish slices on top.

  11. Add in a few tbsp of the oil an vinegar, followed by more sesame seeds, garlic, ginger and fish.

  12. Repeat until all the ingredients have been used.

  13. Cover tightly and store for a week.

  14. Serve as an accompaniment to rice.
