Sautéed Shredded Ostrich with Onions Recipes

Ingredients :

200g ostrich fillet

1/2 onion

50g Peking spring onion

3 stalks spring onion

8 Peking pancakes

Marinade

1/4 tsp cooking soda

1 tbsp water

1/2 tsp sugar

1/2 tbsp light soy sauce

1/2 tsp cornflour

a little pepper and sesame oil

1 tbsp oil

Sauce

2 tbsp Char Siu Sauce

1 tsp sugar

1 tbsp Shaoxing Wine

Method :

Shred ostrich fillet finely. Mix in cooking soda and water. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients and leave it for 30 minutes. Shred onion and Peking spring onion. Cut spring onion into short lengths. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in wok. Sautee ostrich until 80% done. Set aside. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in wok. Sauté sauce ingredients for a while. Put in Ostrich and stir fry briefly over high heat. Serve with pancakes and shredded onions on the side. Pancakes are made from flour and water. Kneaded flour and water into a soft dough. Then rolled into thin sheets and pan-fried until lightly golden.
