Pasta Gone Wild Recipes

Ingredients :

1 Gardenburger or Garden Sausage patty - optional

Olive oil spray

1/4 pound whole wheat paste

1 8 ounce jar fat free tomato sauce or our Simple Marinara Sauce

1 cup Veggies Pack, 1/2 inch dice

1/4 cup sliced mushrooms

1 tsp grated Parmesan cheese

2 tbsp minced parsley

Method :

Heat the Gardenburger or Garden Sausage if you are using it, in a nonstick pan lightly sprayed with olive oil spray for about 3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Cut into 1/2 inch cubes. Set aside.

Prepare the whole wheat pasta as suggested on the package. Heat the tomato sauce, then add the Veggies Pack pieces and mushrooms. Simmer until the vegetables care crisp but tender (about 5 minutes).

Place the pasta in serving dishes, then cover with the sauce and vegetable mixture. Toss lightly. Sprinkle the diced Gardenburger or Garden Sausage on top. Sprinkle with the Parmesan and minced parsley.

I could eat this pasta dish over and over and never get tired of it.
