Pasta with Tuna and Mushroom Recipes

Ingredients :

olive oil

onion, sliced

fresh mushrooms, sliced

can tuna, drained and flaked

grated Parmesan cheese

white wine

carton cream of light sour cream

pasta of choice

chopped basil

juice 1 lemon

salt and pepper to taste

Method :
  1. Heat oil in a large frying pan, sauté onion until tender.
  2. Add mushrooms, cook 2-3 minutes, blend in tuna and parmesan.
  3. Cook 1 minute, stir in wine, lemon juice, cream and salt and pepper.
  4. Simmer until beginning to thicken.
  5. Cook pasta in plenty of boiling water for 10-12 minutes or until tender, drain.
  6. Blend basil into sauce, toss pasta through sauce.
  7. Serve topped with grated parmesan cheese.
  8. Salad and crusty bread are ideal accompaniments.
