Tomato and Pasta Bake Recipes

Ingredients :

175 g

575 ml

30 ml

40 g

short cut whole meal macaroni

pint tomato sauce

whole meal breadcrumbs

walnuts, chopped

salt

Method :
  1. Heat the oven to 190oC (375oF), Gas 5.

  2. Grease an ovenproof dish.

  3. Cook the macaroni in a large pan of boiling, salted water for 12-13 minutes, or according to the directions on the packet, until just tender.

  4. Drain thoroughly and turn into the dish.

  5. Bring the sauce just to the boil and pour over the macaroni.

  6. Bake for 25 minutes.

  7. Mix the crumbs and walnuts, scatter over the dish and continue baking for 10 minutes.

Serves 4

Per Serving : 6 g fat, 5 g fiber.
