Green Beans and Mushrooms with Sesame Seeds Recipes

Ingredients :

1 lb fresh green beans, sliced thinly into two in lengths

3 tbsp peanut oil

1/2 lb button mushrooms, halved

1 tbsp dark sesame oil

2 tbsp soy sauce

freshly ground black pepper

2 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted

Method :

Cook beans in boiling salted water for 3 minutes. Drain. Drain 2 tbsp of peanut oil in a wok, and stir-fry the mushrooms for 2-3 minutes. Add the well-drained beans and stir-fry for 1 minute. Sprinkle vegetables with the dark sesame oil, pour in the soy sauce, and season with black pepper. Simmer, covered, for 3-4 minutes longer. Serve sprinkled with sesame seeds.

Serves 2-3
