Method :
Mix salt, 1/4
tsp (1ml) pepper, paprika, sugar, cinnamon and cloves in a small dish.
Sprinkle a little of the mixture on each side of each pork chop and rub
it in well. Heat oil in heavy skillet. Add chops and brown slowly. Add
orange juice, water and lemon juice. Cover tightly and simmer about 40
minutes or until cooked through. Lay a slice of pineapple and an orange
slice on each chop. Cover again and simmer 10 minutes. Sprinkle lightly
with pepper.
Note : If you
want extra sauce, add 1 cup (250ml) orange juice or pineapple juice to
skillet after chops have been removed. Let boil and thicken slightly
with 1 tsp (5ml) cornstarch stirred into 2 tbsp (30ml) cold water.
