Fish Porridge Recipes

Ingredients :

fish fillets

soy sauce

sesame oil


piece ginger, shredded finely

stalk spring onions, chopped finely

stalk coriander leaves, chopped finely

packet rice vermicelli


Method :

  1. Wash rice well and boil in 6 cups water with 2 tablespoons oil.

  2. When it boils, turn down the heat and allow the broth to simmer for 11/2 hours.

  3. Wash and slice the fish thinly.

  4. Marinate in a mixture of soy sauce, sesame oil, salt and pepper.

  5. In individual serving bowls, dish out broth and place the fish slices, ginger strips on top.

  6. Garnish with chopped spring onions, coriander leaves and pepper.

  7. Fry the rice vermicelli in hot oil till golden and crispy, and sprinkle on top.
