Green Beans Porridge Recipe

Ingredients :

500 g

4 cups

2 pieces

2

green beans, boiled until soft

coconut milk, extracted from 1 coconut

palm sugar

screw pine leaves, washed and knotted

pinch of salt

Method :

  1. Bring to boil the cooked green beans with the coconut milk and screw pine leaves.

  2. Add the palm sugar and a pinch of salt.

  3. Continue boiling over a medium flame until the gravy thickens.

  4. Serve hot, removing the knotted screw pine leaves.

Serves 6 - 8
