Steamed Chicken with Preserved Bean Curd Recipes

Ingredients :

1/2 chicken

1 Thai red chili

1 sprig spring onion

Marinade

1/2 tsp salt

1 tbsp ginger wine

Sauce

6 cubes preserved bean curd

1 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp light soy sauce

1 tbsp cornflour

1 tsp sesame oil

Method :

Chop chicken into pieces. Mix in marinade and leave it for 10 minutes. Cut red chili into rings and shred spring onion. Mix sauce ingredients well for later use. Mix chicken with sauce, chili and spring onion. Steam over high heat for about 20 minutes until done. The chicken can be steamed on a fresh lotus leaf to give a unique flavor.
