Egg Fried Rice Recipes

Ingredients :

150 g

1 tablespoon

1 teaspoon

long grain white rice

eggs, beaten

vegetable oil

clove garlic, chopped

spring onions, finely chopped

peas, cooked or frozen and thawed

light soy sauce

sea salt

Method :
  1. Cook rice in boiling water for 15 minutes until tender but still firm.

  2. Drain and rinse with boiling water.

  3. In a small saucepan, cook eggs over moderately low heat, stirring until lightly scrambled.

  4. Remove and keep warm.

  5. In a wok, heat oil, add garlic, spring onions and peas and stir fry for 1 minute.

  6. Stir in rice to mix thoroughly.

  7. Add soy sauce, eggs and salt.

  8. Stir to break up egg and mix thoroughly.

Serves 4
