Sesame Rice Recipes

Wash 500g long-grain rice and place in a saucepan with 3 cups (750ml) water and 1 tsp salt. Bring to the boil over medium heat, cover with a tight fitting lid, turn the heat down to very low and cook for 15 minutes. Remove from the heat and leave to stand for another 5 minutes without stirring to lifting the lid. Meanwhile, heat 2 tsp sesame oil in a small saucepan and cook 2 tbsp white sesame seeds over low heat until golden brown. Add 1 tbsp black sesame seeds and 1 tbsp lime juice. Lightly fluff the rice with a fork and stir in the dressing.
