Method :
Fry the bacon
until crisp. Remove the bacon from the pan and drain off most of the
grease. Add the vinegar and water to the pan. Bring to a boil. Add the
Italian dressing mix and the green onions. Return to a boil. Remove the
pan from the heat and then add the Equal. Pour the dressing over the
lettuce while hot. Crumble the bacon and sprinkle it on top. Don't heat
Equal, because it may get a bitter taste. Always add artificial
sweeteners after the heating is finished.
